Our Physicians

Shafi Lodhi, MD
Founder & Medical Director
Dr. Lodhi is a board-certified psychiatrist with exceptionally rare dual fellowship training in both Neuropsychiatry and Forensic Psychiatry. He completed both of his fellowships at Stanford University School of Medicine and served as clinical faculty at Harvard Medical School before transitioning into full time private practice.
His clinical expertise focuses on the intersection of neurology and psychiatry, managing complex conditions such as Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Functional Neurological Disorder (FND), and ADHD. His forensic training provides a unique foundation in rigorous, evidence-based diagnostic formulation, ensuring that no medical mimics are missed.

Sarah Staley, MD
Consultation-Liaison Psychiatrist
Dr. Staley is a double board-certified psychiatrist in General Psychiatry and Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry. She specializes in treating patients with complex co-occurring medical and psychiatric illnesses.
A significant focus of her practice is Perinatal and Reproductive Psychiatry. She provides expert medication management and risk-benefit counseling for women during pregnancy, the postpartum period, and the perimenopausal transition. Her specialized training allows her to safely manage psychiatric medications when patients are facing complex medical challenges.

Rohan Patel, DO
Neuropsychiatrist
Dr. Patel is a board-certified psychiatrist who completed his fellowship in Behavioral Neurology & Neuropsychiatry at Stanford University School of Medicine.
He brings deep expertise in managing psychiatric symptoms that arise from neurological conditions, including neurodegenerative diseases, epilepsy, and movement disorders. His approach is highly collaborative, integrating neurological findings with advanced psychopharmacology to optimize patient outcomes.
Practice Management

Misbah Aslam, MHSA
Business Director
Misbah keeps the practice running. She manages credentialing, payer contracts, compliance, and the financial and operational systems that let the physicians do what they do. If something administrative is working smoothly, it is usually because she built the process.
She holds a Master of Health Services Administration and has spent her career in healthcare operations. She works closely with Dr. Lodhi on the strategic direction of the practice and is the person most likely to solve a problem before anyone else knows it exists.

Sanya Ahmed, MS, MSc
Office Manager
Sanya is usually the first person patients hear from when they reach out to the practice, and she sets the tone for what comes next. She handles scheduling, insurance questions, medical records, and the small logistics that make a new patient's first week feel navigable rather than overwhelming.
She holds dual master's degrees in Clinical Psychology and Applied Psychology, which means she understands what patients are going through, not just what paperwork they need to fill out.
