Seeing a psychiatrist with Cigna in California
All three of our physicians are in-network with Cigna. Every appointment is with a board-certified, fellowship-trained physician, by secure video, anywhere in California, for the full range of adult psychiatry: ADHD, depression, anxiety, OCD, PTSD, bipolar disorder, and subspecialty conditions most networks can't cover. That includes Dr. Sarah Staley, our consultation-liaison and perinatal psychiatrist, for patients seeking care during pregnancy, the postpartum period, or perimenopause.
How your Cigna coverage works with us
Cigna administers behavioral health benefits through its Evernorth Behavioral Health network, so if you've searched Cigna's medical directory without finding psychiatrists, that's why; behavioral providers are listed separately. Most Cigna plans allow direct access to a psychiatrist without a referral. Before you book, call the member services number on the back of your card to confirm your specialist copay, coinsurance, and any unmet deductible. Telehealth psychiatry is covered by Cigna at parity with in-person care in California.
