Bay Area Neuropsychiatry is a Lyra Health network practice. If your employer offers Lyra as a mental health benefit, you can see our board-certified, fellowship-trained physicians for psychiatric evaluation and medication management by secure video, anywhere in California — for everything from ADHD, depression, and anxiety to conditions that need subspecialty depth.
How your Lyra Health coverage works with us
Lyra is an employer-sponsored benefit rather than traditional insurance: for most members, sessions are covered by your employer with no copay and no deductible, up to your plan's session allotment — check your session details in your Lyra account. You can reach us through the Lyra platform, or request an appointment with us directly and note that you have Lyra; our office confirms your benefit and handles the rest. There is no referral requirement and no claims paperwork for you.

If you're unsure whether your employer offers Lyra, check with HR or search your company name at lyrahealth.com. If your sessions are exhausted or your employer doesn't offer Lyra, we also work with Aetna, Anthem Blue Cross, and Cigna, and offer transparent self-pay rates. Can I see you by video anywhere in California through Lyra?
Yes. All appointments are by secure video, and we see Lyra members throughout California. You must be physically in California at the time of your appointment.
What happens if I use up my Lyra sessions?
We'll discuss options before that happens — continuing through your commercial insurance if we're in-network with it (Aetna, Anthem Blue Cross, Cigna), through a Network Gap Exception, or at our transparent self-pay rates.
